Good Friday to you..

Random photo...yeah, I am dreaming of Paris when I see the pasture.

But we will enjoy having some family visit us this weekend to kick us out of our hermit life reverie.  Nothing in particular going on but some quotes I have run across recently I wanted to share...

~Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that crushed it.~~Mark Twain

~ A thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed, but a thing created is loved before it exists.~~ G.K. Chesterton

~Be like the bird
That, pausing in her flight
Awhile on boughs too slight,
Feels them give way
Beneath her and yet sings,
Knowing that she hath wings.~~Victor Hugo

~Dear God, be good to me, the sea is so wide
and my boat is so small.~~Prayer of Breton fishermen

~Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light.~~Jesus (Matthew 11:28-30)

I finally made it over here to your blog. Great post. I especially like the fishermen quote...reminds me of my hubby even before it included our last name...though he usually fishes the lake, not the sea ;) Glad to be blog friends with ya...now I am going to post this so I can read some more. God Bless, Angel

Oh, and I wanted to say...I love your header. That is so cute! I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't been to see the stick sculpture in real life. Ugh. Wish I was better at making myself take the time to do that kind of thing. Ok...I'm really going to go read more of your blog now!

Anne, you have helped keep my mind on Paris. And you stop by whenever you can...I look forward to more visits. Take care.

Hello Angel, this is a treat. You are so good at posting and I hope to put just a little more out there from time to time. Thank you for reading along and your kind comment. Happy blogging.

Ola...welcome! this is a nice surprise to have an unexpected and nice comment. Thank you for taking the time to comment, reading and keep dreaming of Paris.

Carol, i always appreciate you stopping by. I don't know how you have been doing it, blogging so consistently and being so upbeat whilst dealing with the recuperating and the therapy. You are a force. I hope you heal well and can thoroughly enjoy your Paris walks and some restful "sitting". God bless you.

Precious Jenny, what magnificent quotes; I love GK Chesterton and read him during our school days in Boston. God is the one to give us our wings, our dreams and the silence we need to hear His voice. Thank you for coming over today! You are soooooooooo sweet! Blessings to you, Anita
